For the past few years Brother S has hosted an Arbor Day Pub Crawl. And like any self-respecting Arbor Day Pub Crawl, he needs commemorative t-shirts. Fortunately, he is related to me.
I was very pleased with last year's "Let's Get Trunk," but this year's "Raise The Roots" needed something bigger, something flashier, something that screamed "semi-ironically obnoxious but also I hope you genuinely like it?"
That guy in the background? That's Tree-J Spruce Springgreen.
I'm funny.

From Christmas
A few images from Christmas 2013. Because it's May now, and the perfect time to post stuff from December.
First off, brother S and fiancee's puppy, Addison of Milwaukee, looking unnaturally serene and still.
She's totally about to go for that stick out of frame.
Then, it's a grape harvester. IN COLOR!!! DO YOU SEE THE COLORS??? I HOPE YOU NOTICE THE COLORS.
Heh heh...
I had a lot of fun making these, and will be working on this bright, flat style some more this summer.

Christmas 2013
I'm incredibly far behind...I blame school.
I'm resolving to finishing more pictures this year though, on top of school and work. Here's to 2014!

Nuclear Plant
Summer is the time when I get to take my old, mud-spattered, flaking-purple-sparkle-paint bike out of the shed and ride it down about a mile to the Illinois Beach State Park and draw pictures of the old nuclear plant. I'll be sad when they finally tear it down. It's a magnificent statement to the history of the town and region.
