Arbor Day 2014

For the past few years Brother S has hosted an Arbor Day Pub Crawl. And like any self-respecting Arbor Day Pub Crawl, he needs commemorative t-shirts. Fortunately, he is related to me.

I was very pleased with last year's "Let's Get Trunk," but this year's "Raise The Roots" needed something bigger, something flashier, something that screamed "semi-ironically obnoxious but also I hope you genuinely like it?"

Christmas 2013

I'm incredibly far behind...I blame school.

I'm resolving to finishing more pictures this year though, on top of school and work. Here's to 2014!

Nuclear Plant

Summer is the time when I get to take my old, mud-spattered, flaking-purple-sparkle-paint bike out of the shed and ride it down about a mile to the Illinois Beach State Park and draw pictures of the old nuclear plant. I'll be sad when they finally tear it down. It's a magnificent statement to the history of the town and region.

October Project

Will probably look something like this. I'm not really big on the whole zombie-craze-thing, but I am quite fond of "The Uncomfortable History of Medicine," and thought, wouldn't it be swell if a couple of body-snatchers accidentally dug up an un-dead specimen instead?

(Since this is 18th century, and there's no bokor in sight, that's technically a vampire they're disturbing, not a zombie.)
